I am not saying by any means that we have finished our job. But our children are now grown, and are raising children of their own. Frankly, I am very pleased with how well they are doing. I am watching how they are putting their families together and they are doing a wonderful job.

The Bible principles and practices that we found in the Word of God made a difference for our family.

No, not perfect parenting—far from it!

But God’s Word is always perfect, even when we are not, and it does have the answers.

Those principles and practices that we uncovered from the Word of God, and put into practice with our own children made a huge difference for us.

Then through the years—38 years of ministry of preaching the Word of God and teaching hundreds of families—I have now seen those principles come to life in so many other families, as well as our own.

You must be able to notice these forces at work and know how to counter their influence, so you can defuse them and keep them from destroying those relationships.

• You will be able to detect the forces at work when they arise and know where to give your attention to get the relationship back on track. 

• We will also deal with the single most powerful human force to influence your children for right. The truth is—you can’t control your children. You may be able to when they are small, but as they grow, they begin to get a mind of their own. But I am going to uncover for you this one powerful human force. Yes, God has some forces and some things to enact in your family, but there is also something that you can do personally, that will instill in that child a connection that will help you influence that child for good and for God.

• This principle enacted will give you piece of mind when your children are away from your sight and you are concerned for their making right decisions. 

• We are also going to show you the key targets in childrearing that will mark your progress and indicate a job well done. Sometimes people are interested in knowing, “What should my child be doing by the age of 2 years, or 4 years? How do I know that my child is developing right? The most important area of all are these Godly character qualities that need to be instilled in your child. We are going to talk about how to mark them, and how to know when you need to give extra attention to a particular area of growth.

• This will help you have a sense of accomplishment as you stride toward those goals and to have clear understanding of what issues to address in your child rearing. 

• Then we are also going to talk about this one action step that you can take that will help you to be well on your way to raise a happy, healthy, and holy child.
