Being raised in an over controlling atmosphere does NOT have to destroy your child. However being aware of the dangers will alert you as a parent to not put your child knowingly in that environment.
When your child is facing control from others you can be there to guide them to handle it Biblically and prepare to stand in the years to come for Christ.
